Studio Offerings and F.A.Q.

Teacher Training

Happy Buddha Yoga Studio was one of the first studios to offer 200hr. Yoga Teacher Training in Orange County. This program continues to evolve in an effort to integrate traditional aspects of the practice with modern approaches.

Artisan Boutique

Upon entering the studio, you’re welcomed by a cozy reception area that also hosts the creations of very talented local artists and artisans. At any given time you can find jewelry, stained glass, soaps, body oils, paintings, prints and more. All items are cash only or are to be purchased direct through the artist. We also have a community “free” table where you can take or leave any of the random items.

Special Events

In addition to our regular schedule, Happy Buddha Yoga Studio hosts many special events throughout the year. Some of these events are seasonal (such as kid’s yoga in the summer) other events include focused workshops, guest instructors, meditation groups and more. Social media is the best way to keep updated to our events. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I have to preregister for classes?

Registration is suggested for all classes and REQUIRED for classes that begin at 7pm or prior to 9am. Our schedule indicates which classes require pre-registration.

What do I wear?

You can wear anything you’d normally wear to a gym.  Leggings, shorts or any comfortable pants with a t-shirt is just fine.  We practice barefoot so no special footwear is necessary.

Where can I park where I won’t get a ticket?

There’s metered parking in front of the studio and on many of the surrounding side streets. If there are no spots there, check out the municipal parking lot behind Elsie’s diner. Please DO NOT park in back of the studio, you will be towed. PLEASE USE THE BACK DOOR WHEN ENTERING THE STUDIO.

How do I purchase and keep track of class passes?

You can purchase class passes online or in-studio. We highly suggest you set up your account via Tulasoftware.com before attending classes. You can sign a waiver, register for classes, track your purchases, attendance and expiration dates through your online profile. It’s very convenient! Cash or Credit/Debit are accepted in studio as well.

Can my kid(s) attend classes with me?

While we love and encourage children of all ages to explore yoga and meditation, our regularly scheduled classes are appropriate for ages 16+. We have found that the concentration, discipline and mutual respect expected during a 1hr. class can be a little too difficult for our younger friends and that can be disruptive for everyone. We offer kid’s classes whenever possible based on instructor and schedule availability.

Gift Certificates?

You can purchase gift certificates easily through out online payment system via Tula! If the recipient is already a member of the studio, you can send it directly to their account by choosing ‘assign credits immediately’ or you can choose ‘hold at studio’. We would also be happy to prepare a physical gift certificate and mail it out, but please give us at least a full week’s lead time when choosing that option.
