We will provide a supportive safe and open-minded environment for tweens/teens to grow and learn how to bring the yoga off the mat! Focusing on a sense of lightheartedness and community as we move through this weekend of fun, yoga & friends! We will take part in a physical yoga practice, moving with our breath to create body awareness, still the mind and encourage inner as well as outer strength. Tools like breathwork and mindfulness practices/meditations will be broken down and be made accessible for any situation. Pre-teens are especially vulnerable to developing low body image, stress imbalances such as anxiety or depression, overwhelming insecurity and confusion. We will learn about the power of positive thinking and how our words matter, as well as practices of self-acceptance, self-confidence and self-love. We will work on embracing ourselves through voice empowerment and writing exercises encouraging the best possible version of ourselves possible!!!
