This workshop is meant to bring the community together with the power of positive intentions, an interest in creating a meaningful piece of artwork and the openness to learn about the luminous celestial body that hangs in our sky. NO previous experience in painting or yoga required. The cost of the workshop includes all supplies and the yoga practice. About the Artist:Jules Coneen is an artist native to the Hudson Valley. Her artistic roots stems from childhood and she started rock painting after leaving the corporate world a couple years ago while she was going through some difficult times. She found it gave her a sense of relaxation, calmness and expression of emotion through color. Each rock is painted with colors based off of vibes she’s feeling that day. The river stones were hand selected from the Esopus River that runs through the original Woodstock New York! The homeland of peace and love. With her artistic expressions not limited to designs on rocks, Jules creates mini masterpieces on glassware, wood products, and other randomness that she considers a blank canvas, as well as commissioned work. In addition, she illustrated a children’s book “Where Fairies Come From” (book one of a continuing series) a decade ago which was recently published. Jules is a believer in what you put out into the universe you will receive back and she’s grateful to share her talents and colorful perspective with others.
