Meditation is something most of us know we should all be doing regularly, but where do you start? Meditation can provide you with numerous benefits including destressing, a calmer mind, physical and emotional relaxation, and appetite control to name a few. Sometimes the thought of sitting still for an extended period of time is daunting but usually that fear stems from lack of knowledge of what and how to properly meditate. This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in starting their own meditation practice or for those of you who already have a practice and would like to learn some new techniques and fun facts about mediation. We will be doing some light stretching, relaxation, and breath work. No experience is required. Bring a notebook and pen to take notes.
