Meditation, Mantras, and Malas with Tricia Zoldak

mala-beads.jpg

A Mala is a garland of 108 beads plus one bead as the Guru bead.  Malas are traditionally used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra. Wearing a Mala can serve as a daily reminder of what you are trying to manifest in your life at that particular time.

Join Tricia Zoldak for a fun workshop where you’ll learn how to make and use your very own mala to serve as a talisman for prayer and meditation, and to wear as a reminder of an intention you will set during the workshop. You will learn a little bit of the history of Malas, the importance of meditation and mantras, and you will have a chance to find the perfect mantra for yourself. You will leave with a beautiful Mala you have created yourself set with your own personal intention, along with knowledge of how to use it.

Tricia began the regular practice of yoga in 2014 and received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in May of 2015 from the Body Art Barn in Blooming Grove, NY. She then went on to receive her 500 hour certification in 2016 from the Body Art Barn and is currently enrolled in another 500 hour certification at Happy Buddha in Goshen. Yoga, meditation, and chanting has become an integral part of life for Tricia and has helped in dealing with the common yet difficult stresses and obstacles of life. Her goal is to bring yoga and meditation in an easy and accessible way so that even a complete beginner can utilize these practices in their life.

Workshop = $70. To register, click  HERE and go to our workshops page.
