Up to 80% of adults experience low back pain at some point in their lifetimes. It is the most common cause of job-related disability and a leading contributor to missed workdays.
Join us for this workshop led by physical therapist and certified yoga instructor Susan Swiat to learn the common factors that contribute to low back pain including stress, poor body alignment/posture and age related factors.
Tips for improving or eliminating these contributing factors will be discussed, followed by a gentle yoga practice incorporating stretching and strengthening ending with a guided relaxation.
